Nikon has released the Nikkor Z DX 16-50 mm f/3.5-6.3 VR standard zoom lens, and the Nikkor Z DX 50-250 mm f/4.5-6.3 VR telephoto zoom lens for its Z-mount system’s APS-C size (Nikon DX-format) mirrorless cameras. The World Photography Organisation and ZEISS announced the brief and call for entry for the 2020 ZEISS Photography Award on October 15. For its fifth edition, the ZEISS Photography Award has announced the theme of ‘Seeing Beyond - Discoveries’. Photographers are asked to enter five to 10 images that align with the narrative of discovery. Throughout time the human race has thrived on making discoveries, whether it be a personal revelation, a scientific and technological breakthrough or an idea that has led to social change. Olympus has announced the newest Micro Four Thirds System standard interchangeable lens camera, the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III, scheduled to go on sale in late November 2019. The camera has a dustproof and splashproof construction and a compact and lightweight body. Bernstein Liebhard, a US-based investor rights law firm, is investigating potential securities fraud claims on behalf of shareholders of GoPro, Inc. from allegations that GoPro might have issued misleading information to the investing public. On October 2, 2019, GoPro reduced its full year 2019 revenue guidance to a range of USD1.215 to USD 1.25 billion, citing a “late stage production delay” that shifted shipments of its new Hero 8 Black from the third quarter to the fourth quarter of 2019. The National Institude of Photography held Clairvoyance ‘19, its annual photography exhibition from September 20 to 22, 2019. This lens follows the trend set by Nikon and all other mirrorless camera manufacturers who are introducing, as of now, high-performance lenses at premium prices. Sony has launched the RX100 VII premium compact camera in India. The camera is powered by a 1.0-type stacked 20.1 MP Exmor RSCMOS image sensor with DRAM chip and latest generation BIONZ X image processor. Flexibility of shooting is ensured by a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-200 mm f/2.8-4.5 high-magnification zoom lens. The camera can record 4K movies with full pixel readout and no pixel binning in high bit rate XAVC S. A 180-degree flip screen makes vlogging easier. The compact, lightweight body is equipped with in-body image stabilisation and a flip-down LCD monitor along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The PEN E-PL 10 features TruePic VIII image processor, for clear images with minimal noise. Olympus states that the combination of in-body image stabilisation and TruePic VIII provides blur free images.
