Nikon Corporation has announced plans to invest $160 million in a new lens factory aimed at producing high-end lenses. The investment will involve the demolition of some existing structures and the construction of two new buildings at Nikon’s subsidiary, Tochigi Nikon Corporation. As part of Nikon’s Medium-Term Management Plan, the company is committed to investing approximately 100 billion yen by 2030 to enhance its production facilities across all business areas.
