Have all supplies set out, organized, and ready to use prior to your guests’ arrival. ✓ Find a large, cheerful vase or container, and fashion a decorative centerpiece. PISTACHIO CRANBERRY COOKIES Makes about 1 dozen Prep: 5 minutes Bake: 8 minut es Cool: 30 minutes 1 (17.5-ounce) package sugar cookie mix 1 (3.4-ounce) box pistachio instant pudding mix ¼ cup all-purpose flour ½ cup unsalted butter, melted 2 large eggs 1 cup dry-roasted salted pistachios, chopped ½ cup dried cranberries ½ cup white chocolate morsels ONE Preheat oven to 350°. Place moss in carved-out areas, and then use your fingers to create small holes. Plant succulents in the holes, tucking roots into the moss to secure. CHEERFUL TREE Create a mini Christmas tree by shaping chicken wire into a cone. Fill the inside of the cone with moss; let dry, and then press another layer of moss to the outside of the cone. Lollipop Stick Wreath, page 35 Supplies for 3 (12-inch) wreaths 150 short lollipop sticks 150 long lollipop sticks 3 (12-inch) Styrofoam wreaths Gold spray paint Glitter 1-inch paintbrushes Glue gun and hot-glue sticks Ribbon Mod Podge Small plastic cups (to hold Mod Podge and glitter) Instructions: 1. Spray-paint Styrofoam wreath with metallic gold spray paint. Let dry for 15 minutes on each side. 2. Using the ribbon, tie a loop and a pretty bow or knot around your wreath. Decide where you want to hang the wreath, then measure the ribbon and placement of the bow.
