The bat woke up in his cave. The sun was setting, and he was feeling hungry.
So he fluttered out into the cool evening sky. He couldn’t see very well, but he didn’t need to. The bat made little clicks with his mouth, and he could work out where things were by listening to the echoes these sounds made!
Using this trick, the bat quickly found some of the bugs to eat. Before long, he had gobbled up three. But he was concentrating so hard on trying to find a fourth that he didn’t even notice the weasel until it pounced out of a tree! Before he knew what was happening, the bat hit the ground with the weasel on top of him.
