WHEN BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT GOES WRONG GOES WRONG A white cisgender male student, Lucid Werner, is calling for the resignation of African American history professor, Naomi Perkins, after she (her preferred pronoun) allegedly misgendered him by using a non-preferred pronoun. The alleged incident took place during class when Ms. Perkins made the following statement: “Please pass your papers to HIM.” According to Werner, the trauma was immediate.
