On Monday mornings, 9am, more years ago than I care to admit, I used to have to attend the dullest, most obvious lecture ever. Applying Research was a module at university that taught you research principles, like make sure you ask enough people, don’t tell them the answers, don't fake results, etc. All very useful, albiet obvious, except for when you’ve already covered it twice already. Nonetheless, it was mandatory, and for me, an opportunity to bring my laptop out, sit at the back, and tune in to Edinburgh Zoo’s live webcam of their pandas being fed breakfast.
