We’ve done more than our fair share of makeovers in our time, but I reckon the one on this issue’s cover takes the cake... or should I say “pie”? There’s barely a corner of this recipe we haven’t twisted. Hearty, rich and full of flavour, this really has got the lot.  this dish is a traditional Italian staple, known as ‘hunter’s chicken’, and it makes an easy one-pot meal that goes down a treat with adults and kids. I like to use chicken marylands for this and cut them into thighs and drumsticks, but you could use all drumsticks (or all thigh pieces).
