My wife Christina and I have always liked the outdoors. Shortly after university, we converted an old van into a motorhome to travel around the Highlands of Scotland and other parts of the UK over weekends and for summer breaks. Both of us had limited knowledge of foraging, having only gathered blackberries and raspberries when we were children. Sarah and I live on the Northern fringes of Norwich. Our youngest, Django is thirteen and home educated and our three other kids are in their twenties. They visit and stay with us often. For us a family dinner with all of us at the table is a bit of a ritual and an important part of the day. We also love to sit around together playing games.
