PUSS IN BOOTS Marna Gilligan of An Caitín Beag is well known for her feline creations, and has designed many cat-themed knitting patterns, stitch markers, project bags and badges. SPECIAL TECHNIQUES GERMAN SHORT ROWS Work in pattern (knit or purl) until the point at which the pattern says turn, then turn work, leaving the remaining stitches unworked on the right-hand needle. On a purl row: Slip the first stitch on the left needle, purlwise with the yarn in front from the left needle to the right needle.
