Its annualized revenue is also way up, nearly tripling from $35 million in March of 2024 to more than $100 million this past May. Shopify barely blinked at the ongoing trade and tariff troubles; if anything, its revenue growth sped up in North America, Europe and Asia. In August, Shopify edged out RBC as Canada’s most valuable company by market cap, flying high on second-quarter revenue that had climbed year-over-year to $3.7 billion. Hoffman was the guy who said, If we build it, they will come—and in less than a year and a half, the 50,000-capacity Rogers Stadium was in business.
