THE FRODESLEY HALL Farm charity tractor run, held in Shropshire, went ahead as planned on Sunday 12 September, writes Bob Weir. Dozens of tractors raised money for the local St. Mark’s Church, Frodesley, and Shropshire Rural Stress Support.
“Shropshire Rural Stress Support was set up in 1991 to help people during periods of anxiety,” said organiser Ian Millington. The free confidential service is delivered by people with farming backgrounds, who understand the issues of living in the countryside. In addition to listening, Shropshire Rural Support also has an extensive network of contacts that can offer guidance and signposting to professional advice on most aspects of living and working in rural communities and businesses.
