Portofino Is True Aristocrat

Yesterday afternoon, in company with Messrs E. A. and H. A. Underwood, I went to R. Sinclair’s stables at Williamstown to inspect Portofino, who was recently imported from England, and who will commence stud duty at "Warlaby" Stud this coming season.
PORTOFINO is a particularly nice dark chestnut horse, and it is easy to understand Mr Underwood’s enthusiasm concerning him. Since being in Australia, Portofino has done well, and to keep him fit he has been allowed to do steady work at Williamstown. He is a very evenly made horse, standing, I should say, about 16.1 hands high, and shows a lot of quality.
