THE RANGER HAS been the most popular pickup truck in the UK for quite some time, but the market is quickly swelling, so Ford has felt the need to refresh its offering to stay ahead. There are some visual tweaks, but of greatest note is the fact that the 3.2-litre five-cylinder diesel engine is being replaced by the smaller, more frugal twin-turbo four-cylinder unit first used in the hardcore off-roading Ranger Raptor.
