THE GOVERNMENT HAS pledged to commission an independent study into the problem of drivers being dazzled by the headlights of oncoming vehicles, after the issue was raised by the RAC, the College of Optometrists and Baroness Hayter, a member of the House of Lords. In addition, it comes after a member of the public set up a petition calling for action to mitigate the effects of dazzling headlights, and this was signed by 10,000 people.
