SEASON OF MISTS
As autumn arrives and thoughts turn to heartier food, I look for wines to complement the robust dishes I crave in cooler weather. This group of wines from France includes savory reds from the Rhône Valley and the Loire’s Chinon appellation, along with Pinot Gris and Riesling from Alsace, which perfectly accompany the region’s smoked meats, sausage and sauerkraut.
