For most games, Marco Rossi sets up the same 3-5-2 formation that helped him win the Hungarian title with Honved in 2017. Three at the back is usually a given, with the two flank players in the midfield raiding and covering. Another given is the tendency of goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi to patrol outside his area when occasion demands, Manuel Neuer-style. Centre-back Attila Szalai is comfortable on the left, too.
Roving in front of the back three, Adam Nagy spends 90 minutes in the middle third, delivering passes, picking up loose balls, constantly available. This allows the attacking midfielders, Dominik Szoboszlai and probably Laszlo Kleinheisler, in the absence of Zsolt Kalmar, to risk forward runs and worry defenders.
