Famous for its white sands, rugged rock formations, and dark green and red serpentinite cliffs, Kynance Cove is a somewhat hidden gem nestled away in Cornwall at the foot of Great Britain. A National Trust site, the natural beauty of Kynance Cove has made the area a popular source of inspiration for artists and poets since the nineteenth century; most significantly captured in the work of poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson, and artist, JMW Turner.
Within the cove, you’ll find two main beaches consisting of a sand and rock mixture. The dramatic cliffs and turquoise water encourage a broad variety of wildlife to call Kynance Cove home.
