1 Activate slider view
Download PushSliders and install it in Ableton Live. Then, place a MIDI synth in a track and load PushSliders into it as well. To activate the slider view, click on Scan in PushSliders, then select your Push again in the drop-down menu below and click on ACTIVE. You will now see a row of colorful pads in Push.
2 Assign parameters
Next, map various parameters to the 8 fields labeled map. Each field represents a slider. If, for example, the MIDI synth has macro controls to which parameters have been mapped, assign these to the fields in PushSliders. Otherwise, you can also assign any parameters that change or modulate the sound.
