Behind each of the 18 hexagons is a complete drum synth, equipped with individual parameters and effects. Kicks, snares, rimshots, hi-hats, crashes, rides, toms, claps, and percussion sounds such as cowbell, block, conga, and tonal can be modeled from scratch, with each playback varying slightly due to the use of analog modeling.
This is a crucial difference to static one-shots, which makes grooves more lively. Each drum synth comes with five sound-defining macro controls: Pitch, length, shape, click, and tame for the bass drum, for example.
