Back in 2010, we were loyal to the Track Trailer brand, having progressed through the range — from a soft-floor Desert Eagle to a Tvan, and then finally to a Topaz hybrid. With comfortable, go-anywhere capability, dependability, and ease of setup, we began to push the boundaries on where to travel, undertaking more remote trips with confidence.
Offroad touring had thoroughly etched itself into our subconscious by then. It was something we were continually thinking about, with trips ranging from weekenders, long weekends, and extended forays, all planned well ahead of time. Being a member of a 4WD club had its advantages too, as there was always plenty of club trips on offer to participate in, without exerting too much planning effort.
