Classics less than 40 years old face another Ultra Low Emissions Zone Cthreat: that of local borough council scrappage schemes. Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, called for further support from the 32 London councils in replacing non-compliant vehicles on top of Transport For London’s (TfL’s) own £110m, £2000-per-car scrappage initiative, which was opened to all Greater Londoners and those in the City of London from August 21.
