Cycling will once again receive the most funding of any sport for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic cycle, as UK Sport declares its largest investment to date for the Los Angeles Games in 2028.
Announced this week, cycling has been awarded ÂŁ38,950,000 of the overall ÂŁ330 million pot for the 2025-2029 funding period. This will be split into ÂŁ30,125,000 for the Olympic cycling squad and ÂŁ8,825,000 for the Paralympic squad. As a result, each programme is set to receive a boost of almost ÂŁ1 million compared to the funding for Paris 2024, a previous best.
