When former Net-a-Porter buyer Katie Green decided to launch her denim line, Kéji, she knew she'd be entering a crowded market space dominated by powerhouses like Frame, J Brand, and Acne. Jane Austen's six novels have given rise to endless film adaptations, but the works of Thomas Hardy, that other great bard of the collision of female passions with the Victorian social order, have yielded few cinematic takes indeed.
