I’ve just been a busy boy and unfortunately mods for the RS4 have been a long way down my to do list, sometimes being a grown up with responsibilities sucks. Cyan Racing, formerly named Polestar, has broken two Nürburgring lap records during development of the Lynk & Co 03 Cyan Concept, making it the fastest four-door car and the fastest front-wheel driven car in the world around the fearsome 21-kilometre Nordschleife circuit. Last month I well and truly proved that there’s no substitute for talent as the Alto and myself kicked Midge’s arse. But what did I do to get my car race ready for the handling challenges? Well, to be blatantly honest, hardly anything! I wanted to fit the Cobra bucket seat, but I needed custom subframes. However, I did bolt on some rear arches to help with tyre clearance and I also managed to get a set of Direnza springs on the rear to stiffen up the suspension.
