Mörk Enigmatic US producer Grant drops his second album, a free-rolling and highly atmospheric Deep House record for Lobster Theremin sub label, Mörk. Cranks is the follow-up to last year’s debut LP, The Acrobat, and finds the West Coast producer exploring a more immersive sound than before. Built around lush grooves, deep, surging bass and emotive pads, there is a timeless, classic sheen to the entire record.
Blending together elements of West Coast House, dusty beatmaking, Detroit Techno, Jazz and ’90s Rave, Cranks has an eclectic vibe while maintaining a focus on supple grooves.
