Denise McGaha doesn’t do half measures when it comes to color. “I’m a big believer in committing to a palette. If you love a color, go big with it!” says the designer, who layered five shades of purple in this glamorous exhibition kitchen. McGaha found her initial inspiration in Shadow, a moody amethyst gray—and Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year—that she chose for the exterior cabinets. Its neighboring hues on the fan deck, a wispy lilac and a lush iris, were the ideal complements for the floor and ceiling, respectively.
