The Motul FIM Superbike World Championship has released their first provisional calendar for the 2022 season. Reflecting this year’s COVID-19 adjustments, the 2022 schedule follows a similar pattern, with the flyaways – including an Australian round – backended in the 13-round calendar.
As in 2021, the 2022 season will start later than usual, kicking off at Aragon in April, followed by eight more European rounds, including two in Portugal, before the first flyaway round at Argentina in October.
Mandalika, the all-new venue in Indonesia that hosted the 2021 WSBK season finale, returns, with Phillip Island back on the calendar after being cancelled in 2021.
