The prettiest of shades, pink has taken a sugary turn this season and it couldn’t look sweeter. evolving from soft and delicate to cheekily chewy, it was bold bubblegum-pink that blew up on the spring/summer 2017 catwalk, from tasselcovered candy creations at givenchy to House of Holland’s giant, gobstopper-like sequins. Background Once upon a time, a tree stump was the essential accoutrement for anyone with a sharp knife hell bent on a spot of light butchery. As civilization took hold, wooden chopping boards evolved and were favoured by chefs and cooks as they had naturally antibacterial properties and helped keep their knives sharper for longer.
