Listening to SAfm the other day, I caught a snippet of a welcoming address by President Cyril Ramaphosa
to a group of newly arrived ambassadors. And, by jiminy, it lifted my spirits!
For, apart from the sort of stuff one would normally expect to hear, Ramaphosa reassured his listeners on a raft of issues which, hitherto, had been causing me sleepless nights.
The government, for instance, was well on its way to eliminating corruption. And whereas load shedding still posed a bit of a problem it, too, would soon be resolved.
