We’ve had an eventful summer break and it feels like a great time to settle back into finishing some projects before the end of the year. I have a few patchwork blankets which just need wadding and binding before passing on to new babies in the family. MATERIALS ■ Fresh hydrangeas ■ Secateurs ■ Straight-sided vases ■ Twine ■ Raffia ■ Florist wire 1 For best results, you will need to gather hydrangea blooms towards the end of their flowering season (late summer).
