In past years I’ve opted for a hardtail or short-travel trail bike, but for 2025’s longtermer I’ve decided to go bigger, with this ‘all-mountain’ frame from German boutique brand Last.
The Glen has 150mm of rear-wheel travel, courtesy of a single-pivot swingarm and linkage-actuated shock. I’m running 29in wheels, but with a quick swap of a link, the bike can be switched to a ‘mullet’ (29in front, 650b rear) configuration.
