BAILEY OF BRISTOL has completed the trek to the outskirts of the Sahara Desert that it was forced to abandon when the pandemic first struck, three years ago.
A team from the Bristol manufacturer and other participants took two Bailey Phoenix+ 642 models, towed by Ford Rangers, and a Bailey motorhome, from the ‘World's End’, Sagres in southern Portugal, through Spain and across the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco. They then visited Fez, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou, and drove through the Dadès Gorge, before reaching the edge of the Sahara Desert and then returning home.
