Boyd Martin shared some thoughts after the clinic about the galloping position: “Basically you can ride pretty badly and still make the time and win the class at Novice and Training level, but one of the goals is riding efficiently and evenly and seeing how easy we can make it for our horses to go cross country. “The biggest fault I see at the lower levels is riders balancing their position too much over the horse’s back rather than over the horse’s shoulder.
