ANALYSIS The Angling Trust has been working hard for many years on behalf of sea anglers, something that’s not always appreciated by a lot of sea anglers. I’ve been personally involved for 12 years, the last 7 plus as a Director, and I often get asked exactly what is the Angling Trust doing about this or that issue – and as regular readers will know we’ve been spinning a lot of plates over the last few years-years. Bass regulations, inshore netting by laws, bluefin tuna and the CHART programme, the Fisheries Act, HPMA’s, MZC’s, porbeagle sharks, bait collection by laws, on going communication with, access issues (like the Dover Pier), the list goes on. And all this work is quite separate form any participation events or competitions we get involved…
