LG Australia has just announced its first flatscreen 4K OLED TVs, the 55-inch ($5499) and 65-inch ($8999) EF950T models, identically priced to its existing curved models, and available now in selected Auistralian dealers. Over at CES, LG showed 4K OLED TVs led by the 77/65-inch G6 and 65/55-inch E6 models, all 4K and HDR-capable (see p80), dubbed ‘HDR Pro’ to indicate both baseline HDR-10 (as adopted for 4K Blu-ray) and Dolby Vision compatability. These also feature new ‘Picture-On-Glass’ design, using 2.57mm OLED panels with translucent glass back. The new webOS 3.0 interface promises an even more exceptional user experience than webOS 2.0.
