Technology's the air we breathe here on the bay," he adds, noting that it's crucial for a writer traditionally or independently published to learn how to market content online via social media.
Now in its 13 th year, the conference takes place over four days at the historic Mark Hopkins Hotel, within walking distance of Union Square, Chinatown, and the Financial District.
