Like a lot of Aussie expats, Kylie Minogue used to have the best of both worlds, reaping the lucrative benefits of living overseas while jetting back to Oz a few times a year to see family and friends. But the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, with its strict border closures in 2020, changed all that and made the singer, 53, realise she needed to make a drastic change. So after three decades of living in the UK, Minogue quietly packed up and came home to Melbourne.
”I wanted to spend more time with my family,” the pop star tells The Sydney Morning Herald. “But I was like, ‘Why not? Just do it.’ Time is precious and it’s the evolution of me,” she explains.
