Sony has announced the release date for its PlayStation 4, saying the game console will launch in North America on Nov. 15 and Nov. 29 in Europe. If we're all going to be wearing Internet-connected headsets in the future, why not charge advertisers for what we see, and how it makes us feel? That seems to be the idea behind a patent awarded to Google (GOOG) last week for a head-mounted eye-tracking system that could enable "pay per gaze advertising," or a method of charging advertisers when a wearer views certain images online or in the real world. By measuring pupil dilation, at least in theory, the system could also determine the wearer's "emotional state" at the time of viewing. U.S. stocks dropped for a fourth day in a row Monday as investors continued to express worry about the recent rise in bond yields. Banking stocks also dragged down the broader market. Google says real-time traffic reports will appear on Google Maps courtesy of users of Waze, the mapping service Google purchased for $1 billion. The Google Maps app for Apple !OS and Android will include Waze user reports of accidents, road closures, construction and other incidents as updates begin rolling out Tuesday, Google said in a blog post.
