The estimated cost of Apple’s new campus in Cupertino, Calif., has skyrocketed from $3 billion to $5 billion over the last two years, according to Bloomberg Business week. Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook had previously said the completion of the campus had been delayed from 2015 to 2016. PARAMORE PARAMORE It’s hard to believe that while the group Paramore is releasing its fourth studio album, its lead singer is just 24 years old. It’s even harder to believe that Hayley Williams was just 17 years old at the time of the band’s first album and only 15 when the band was first forming. Even more surprising is that the band’s drummer was only 13. Most likely because of the ages of some of its founding members, Paramore has gone through a number of personnel changes in just this short time. SAN JOSE - Finding strong evidence that Silicon Valley powerhouses such as Apple (AAPL), Google (GOOG) and Intel (INTC) had an “antipoaching” pact not to raid rival work forces, a federal judge on Friday sent the strongest signals yet of the tough challenge those companies have defending allegations raised by tens of thousands of employees. GANGSTER SQUAD Movie audiences love nothing more than a gangster movie, and if it’s based on a true story, all the better. It doesn’t get much better than Good Fell as when looking for a mob story based on fact. Casino is based on fact as well, and Godfather and The Departed are loosely based in fact. Apple says its App Store will begin to highlight recommended age ratings, moving them to a prominent display position near the application name. The move from the Information section to the main app page will make the rating one of the first things users see when they open the app description, Apple said. While Apple has not publicly commented on the change, some analysts suggest it was in response to concern from parents over the in-app content their children may be encountering, PC Magazine reported Thursday.
