1 OPEN YOUR IMAGE IN LIGHTROOM
First, we’ll start by importing and selecting the image you want to edit in Lightroom. Then, go to the Develop module to access the editing tools.
2 ACCESS THE TONE CURVE
On the right-hand panel, scroll down to find the Tone Curve panel, and click to expand the Tone Curve section to reveal the curve graph.
3 UNDERSTAND THE TONE CURVE INTERFACE
The curve is divided into four regions: Shadows (left), Darks (bottom left), Lights (top right), and Highlights (right). The horizontal axis represents input tones (shadows to highlights), while the vertical axis represents output tones (lightness of the image).
