I mean, these days there’re runs to the Club’s own land in Buckinghamshire (a fair trek if you’re from the north or, say, Devon or Cornwall), and to various locations across these sceptred isles, too, and also into Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Norway, and far-off Macedonia (part of the Balkans, the land to the right of Italy on a world map, that was part of the former Yugoslavia back in the day that butts up to Greece). That’s a bit of a trek for anyone, as I’m sure you can imagine, but consider the plight of the lads from Chopper Club Scotland – for them even a trip to Cublington, let alone to Germany, Norway or Macedonia, is a fair undertaking for someone on a big, comfy, touring or adventure…
