In particular, when voices are meant to sound powerful, these same large spaces can make for quite a washed-out sound and also overpower the instrumental. 1 Chords & Arpeggiator Thanks to PAD PERFORM mode, MPCs can fire off chords with just one pad; and the arpeggiator provides instant melodies and sequences when needed. For our desired Techno chords, we use both. However, the MPC generates the chords before the arpeggiator, feeding it with the notes of the chords. We need this reversed. What to do? 2 Search presets It‘s simple: you can either use a synth plug-in that already plays chords and then only use the MPC‘s arpeggiator, or you can sample a sound as a keygroup instrument. HOFA IQ-Series Transient With IQ-Series Transient, HOFA adds a specialist for processing transients and sustain to its popular plug-in series.
