Dear Editor,
My letter is about financial literacy amongst young black people. We come from a generation where financial literacy was not a big deal - our parents never got the opportunity to learn about how to make, keep and make money work for you. As young black people we need to educate ourselves about wealth creation, investing in stocks, property, cryptocurrency, dividends, buying shares, creating multiple streams of income and income-producing assets in general. Let us learn from those who did it and are continuing to make it so that we become a financially literate nation so we can pass on the baton and not be associated with debts all the time… Together we can break the cycle!
With love, Mbali Radebe
