I went snowshoeing with my troop on Mount Hood in Oregon. We stayed at Mazama Lodge, which had a pool table, foosball table, pingpong table and bunk beds three levels high. There was a huge living room with a roaring fire and tables to play cards and board games. Before going, we worked on the Snow Sports merit badge requirements for two weeks so we could Be Prepared. It was good to learn things ahead of time, especially what to wear when out in cold weather. We hiked 2 miles around Frog Lake to complete the badge.
