CUBA Just after lunch on 1 February 2019, a 360,000kg meteor travelling at more than 64,000kmh exploded above western Cuba creating a sonic boom and showering the Viñales Valley in fragments of meteorite. I cycled into the valleys main village later that afternoon on an ebike tour.
