Kedibone Modise FROM short story readings, monologues and open mic sessions to the launching of poetry books, “Poetry in McGregor” is all about celebrating the word.
Under the theme “Garden of the Beloved”, more than 80 poets from across the country will be showcasing and sharing their works in the charming village of McGregor at the foot of the Riviersonderend mountains in the Western Cape, from November 19 to 21.
Some of the poets presenting their works at a handful of venues throughout the weekend include Lara Kirsten, Malika Ndlovu, Danie Marais, Churchil Naudé, Susan Woodward, Diana Ferrus, Christine Coates, Justin Fox, Patricia Schonstein, Dimakatso Sedite, Lynthia Julius, Nondwe Mpuma, Jacques Coetzee and John Maytham.
