Film enthusiasts are being treated this month with the European Film Festival on in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The 10th edition started yesterday and the line-up includes 16 award-winning international films from featured countries Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and Ukraine.
Until Sunday, October 22, movie lovers can watch screenings at Gateway (Durban), The Labia (Cape Town) and The Zone (Johannesburg) as well as online at www.eurofilmfest.co.za.
Several free activities are on offer this year.
For example, a cinematography workshop for budding film-makers will be conducted by Pierre de Villiers at Wits Film School Theatre, Joburg, today and in Cape Town on Monday, October 23, at the Baxter Theatre.
