Over the past year we’ve seen a couple of interesting photographic milestones drop out of the sky, hit us in the head and make us shake in disbelief. Only last month, we saw the announcement of the world’s first full-frame global shutter camera – the $10,499 Sony A9III. This game-changing camera unlocks a number of unheard-of advantages that almost seem to be sci-fi: a maximum shutter speed of 1/80,000; 120fps with no blackout; no rolling shutter, and the ability to shoot flash at ANY shutter speed – incredible! More powerful than the sun?
