IT may be a decade old but, for petrol-heads, there are certain advantages to the 370Z’s longevity. Nissan’s venerable coupé is now one of only a handful of naturally aspirated, manual-transmission, rear-wheel-drive sportscars in our market (the Porsche 911 GT3, Mazda MX-5 and Toyota 86 being the others).
With this new facelift, Nissan has further improved on this niche value by adding a semi-racing clutch by Exedy that gives the transmission a little more bite and a positive, racecar-like engagement. This, together with the slightly revised head- and taillamps, are the only new features to the manual 370Z.
