For the first time since 2009, a South African competitor in the Car category was in true contention of winning the gruelling Dakar Rally. Vehicle safety has become an increasingly important consideration for motorists. Is sufficient vehicle safety information easily available for buyers to make informed purchasing decisions? With another festive season of carnage on South African roads behind us, many car buyers are factoring in safety considerations when making purchase decisions.
